Friends of Lucy is a group of citizens that are advocating on behalf of Lucy, the Asian elephant currently living at the Valley Zoo in Edmonton, Alberta. We are committed to securing her release and transfer from the Valley Zoo to an elephant sanctuary. The Zoo environment deprives her of social interaction, mental stimulation and a proper elephant environment which is causing her physical and mental deterioration. We believe that where Lucy’s welfare is concerned no challenge or opposition is too great. We invite you to join us so that together we can secure for Lucy the future she deserves.
